Simply the Best, The Phoenix Festival announces 2019 Special Guest
The Phoenix Festival are delighted to announce that bringing the festival to a climax on Sunday 25th August will be none other than, special guests “TOTALLY TINA”, the UK’s official number one Tina Turner tribute show.
Internationally acclaimed ‘TOTALLY TINA’ is the longest running tribute to the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Voted by the Agent’s Association of Great Britain, Totally Tina have held the No.1 title for the last six years with a performance that is so authentic it makes you feel like the actual Tina is right in front of you, strutting her stuff on the most famous legs in show business.
Expect a sparkling mix of nostalgia and surprise, featuring all the hits, her best loved covers and the odd twist in the tale. Jumping Jack Flash, Honky Tonk Woman, Get Back, It’s Only Rock and Roll and The Bitch is Back have been added to a set which includes classics such as Proud Mary, Nutbush City Limits, Private Dancer and everybody’s favourite “Simply the Best”, released 30 years ago!

The Phoenix Festival takes place on Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th August in the Abbey Grounds, Cirencester. Any performers, artists, bands, dance troupes, DJ's or choirs etc. who are located in the Cirencester area (GL7 postcode) that want to play at the 2019 Phoenix Festival should get in touch via firstname.lastname@example.org .

The Phoenix Festival is a totally free to enter, open to everyone, two-day local music and performing arts event.
The Festival is organised through the registered charity and company Cirencester Community Development Trust and is supported by Cirencester Town Council who provide the Festival site, the Abbey Grounds, at no charge.
The Festival is now in its seventh year and will take place on 24th & 25th August 2019.
The Festival has hosted a number of the UK’s top tribute acts: the Ultimate Beatles (2015); Oas-is and Who’s Next (2016); David Live and Los Palmas (2017); and Arrival and Flash (2018).
The Festival brings the local community together, involves Cirencester’s young people and offers a unique platform to showcase local talent.
Young people and volunteers of all ages make it happen.
Over 100 volunteers help out over the two days and an additional 50 for the week during the festival and pre-festival site build.
Sponsors, grants and donations keeps free entry.
Over 15,000 people regularly attend the Phoenix Festival.
The Festival was the brainchild of Ozone (a youth club for young people aged 13-19) and would not exist without the youth of Cirencester.
The first Phoenix Festival in Cirencester was held in 2013.
